Professional Learning Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage, and motivate a regional team of District Partnership Specialists and Professional Learning Specialists in Texas.
• Set the vision and direction for the region to ensure districts receive exceptional professional development and implementation support.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to expand IXL’s footprint and grow customer relationships within the region.
• Partner with marketing to plan and execute regional professional learning events, including webinars and IXL Live events.
• Stay informed on Texas statewide K-12 initiatives to ensure IXL implementations and professional development are aligned.
• Travel to support districts, provide professional development, and observe team members (up to 60% travel during back-to-school season).
• Use data to identify trends and drive strategic decision-making.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree.
• 5+ years of experience managing professional development teams.
• K-12 teaching experience with a strong knowledge of the Texas K-12 education landscape.
• Proven experience as a people manager who fosters collaboration across teams.
• Exceptional presentation skills and a deep understanding of professional learning best practices.
• Ability to travel up to 60% of the time.
• Must live in Texas and close to a major airport.
