Responsibilities

• Produce and stamp boundary, topographic, and ALTA surveys for infill residential parcels
• Manage field data acquisition and ensure compliance with California PLS standards
• Provide rapid parcel-level assessments regarding encroachments, easements, and setbacks
• Deliver CAD-ready survey files aligned to architectural and development workflows
• Oversee supplemental work by contract survey crews and interface with city/county agencies
• Develop internal survey standards, templates, and operating procedures
• Perform construction surveying including building pad layout, foundation staking, and as-built surveys

Requirements

• Active California PLS license
• 5–10 years of professional experience in land surveying
• Experience in infill residential or small-lot work preferred
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, GPS/RTK systems, and total station workflows
• Familiarity with Santa Clara County and San Mateo County parcel data and standards
