Professional in Residence for Applied Artificial Intelligence

Responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate instruction in introductory and applied AI courses
• Design and teach hands-on AI and data analytics projects for business students
• Support the expansion of the Applied AI curriculum and the Center for Applied AI
• Translate complex AI concepts into accessible learning experiences for non-technical audiences
• Maintain a standard teaching load of approximately 6 courses per year

Requirements

• Master’s degree or higher in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Information Systems, Computer Science, Analytics, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated experience applying AI in business domains such as finance, marketing, healthcare, or media
• Ability to design and lead hands-on technical projects
• Strong communication skills for explaining technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices and ethical deployment considerations

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior college-level teaching experience in higher education
• Professional experience with AI application development, tools, or platforms
• Familiarity with generative AI technologies, prompt engineering, and AI-enabled workflows
