Production/Factory Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the entire production process within the joinery and wood factory to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
• Develop production plans and schedules to meet customer orders and project deadlines while optimizing resource utilization.
• Allocate manpower, machinery, and equipment efficiently to maximize production output.
• Implement rigorous quality control processes and conduct regular inspections to uphold product standards.
• Monitor production costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement efficient production methods.
• Lead, train, and motivate production teams to achieve targets and maintain a positive work environment.
• Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing strict health and safety protocols and regulations.
• Collaborate with the design team to evaluate the feasibility of designs for production.
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to prevent shortages or excess stock.

Requirements

• Proven experience working within a Joinery company is mandatory.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar production management role.
• A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Expertise in woodworking machinery, equipment, and tools.
• Proficiency in CAD software for design evaluation and production planning.
• Exceptional leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or related methodologies.
