Production Worker

Responsibilities

• Assist team members in removing finished goods from the production line
• Perform routine inspections on various process-related equipment
• Operate and clean various operation-related power equipment
• Use powered propane/diesel lift trucks or tow motors upon in-house certification
• Organize workstations for daily routine tasks
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Perform other duties as required by the Production Supervisor

Requirements

• Grade 12 education or equivalent (proof required at first interview)
• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Availability for 12-hour rotating Continental shifts (days/nights) and willingness to work overtime
• Computer and mechanical aptitude
• Legally entitled to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior production or mill house experience
• Familiarity with confined spaces and Lock/Tag/Try knowledge
• Tow motor or lift truck experience
