Production Trainer

Responsibilities

• Formally welcome and orient new hires to the room, team, brand, and Health & Safety practices
• Execute hands-on training to ensure new hire competence and confidence in production
• Introduce employees to quality standards and production expectations
• Motivate and engage new employees through check-ins and in-the-moment support
• Train-on and support proper production methods for all product lines
• Spot-check product weights, quality, and ensure correct use of tools and SOPs
• Lead hands-on training for new product launches
• Collaborate with room leadership to support trainees and elevate performance concerns
• Perform Production Assistant duties including filling, pouring, pressing, packing, and labeling
• Execute physically laborious tasks such as loading skids and pushing racks

Requirements

• Must be a current Lush employee
• Proven excellence in Production Assistant duties
• Strong communication and coaching skills
• Ability to provide and receive feedback
• Commitment to health, safety, and good manufacturing practices
• Ability to perform physical work for 8-hour shifts, including lifting 50 pounds
• Proficiency in basic mathematics
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking)

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year in current role
• Experience as a Team Leader or Production Trainer
• Formal leadership or coaching experience
• Experience in fast-paced, seasonal environments
• Ability to navigate Google apps (Sheets, Docs, Chat, Meet)
