Production Trainee

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day machine shop operations and learn core manufacturing processes
• Operate and support machines including punching, drilling, tapping, and powder coating
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and strict safety guidelines
• Support production targets related to quality and productivity
• Assist with basic machine setup, measurement, and inspection activities
• Maintain housekeeping standards and follow 5S practices in the work area
• Develop technical and operational skills under professional supervision

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any degree (with willingness to work in a machine shop)
• Basic understanding of mechanical concepts
• Willingness to work in a shopfloor/production environment
• Ability to work in shifts as required

Preferred Qualifications

• 0–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or machine shop environment
• Exposure to conventional machining processes such as drilling, tapping, or punching
• Basic knowledge of measurement tools and inspection methods
