Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist with cargo in-load and out-load processes
• Perform stockpile management and general clean-up duties at the handling facility
• Operate and refuel heavy equipment and machinery
• Maintain accurate records of all work completed
• Adhere to strict safe work practices and a "Zero Harm" workplace commitment

Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar production or industrial role
• Valid heavy machinery tickets/licensing, or the ability to obtain them
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening
• Ability to work effectively both autonomously and within a team environment
• Must be locally based in Port Hedland, WA

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-risk or regulated working environments
• Experience operating WA500/WA900 Komatsu Front End Loaders
• Experience operating Watercarts, Service Trucks, Vac Trucks, or Sweeper Trucks
• Prior experience with Ship Loaders, Control Rooms, or Sample Stations
