Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform material inventory and support sub-assembly testing
• Install sub-assemblies into cryostats
• Cleave and splice fiber optic cables
• Utilize hand tools and small parts to assemble equipment and connect circuits
• Update Manufacturing Execution System (MES) with completed work transactions
• Create and submit daily pass-down reports of activities and results
• Read and follow manufacturing sub-assembly instructions
• Support lab and cleanroom operations and maintenance

Requirements

• At least 2 years of related experience in semiconductor, optical, or R&D test positions
• High school diploma or 4 years equivalent experience
• Experience operating tooling and working with precision instruments
• High dexterity for working with small components
• Proficiency with MS Office and Windows applications
• Physical agility and ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cryogenic test systems
• Experience in cleanroom environments
