Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and change over specified machinery in an assigned area to ensure efficient production.
• Perform routine repairs, adjustments, and malfunction troubleshooting to maintain equipment reliability.
• Conduct quality control tasks including metal checks, inspection of date codes, and maintaining accurate QC records.
• Maintain detailed log books and shift support documentation to ensure operational conformance.
• Collaborate with Maintenance to complete equipment preventive maintenance and implement process improvements.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including wearing proper personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• 3 years of work experience within manufacturing, or a technical/trade discipline.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic desktop computer systems.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as standing, bending, and climbing stairs.
• Proficiency in reading and comprehending written and oral instructions in English.
• Willingness and ability to work varying shifts and schedules.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience operating a variety of processing or packaging machines.
• Knowledge of inventory control principles.
• OSHA certification and ability to operate a forklift.
• Experience using SAP.
