Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain large-scale powder production equipment, including atomizers, spray dryers, blenders, and screeners
• Follow Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMIs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and production schedules to ensure quality and safety
• Perform batch chemistry math, including weight percentage conversions and various unit of measure calculations
• Execute minor to moderate machine adjustments and maintenance repairs using mechanical skills
• Operate industrial vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, cranes, and pallet jacks
• Work in a manufacturing environment that may be hot, dusty, or humid while wearing required safety gear and a respirator

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in performing mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) across all units of measure
• Experience operating plant equipment and industrial vehicles
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach frequently, and lift up to 44 lbs
• Ability to safely wear and work while using a full-face or half-face respirator
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)
• Ability to train on 1st shift for a designated period of time as needed
