Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain large-scale powder production equipment, including atomizers, spray dryers, blenders, and screeners.
• Interpret and follow Product Manufacturing Instructions (PMIs), Job Safety Analyses (JSAs), and production schedules.
• Perform batch chemistry math, including weight percentage conversions and calculations across various units of measure.
• Execute minor to moderate machine adjustments and maintenance repairs using mechanical skills.
• Operate industrial vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, cranes, and pallet jacks.
• Adhere to strict safety and quality protocols, including the use of respirators and flame-resistant clothing.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficiency in mathematical operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) and unit conversions.
• Ability to read and follow complex, multi-step work instructions with high accuracy.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 44 lbs frequently.
• Ability to safely wear and work while using a full-face or half-face respirator.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience operating plant equipment and industrial vehicles.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and technical knowledge in a manufacturing environment.
