Production Technician III

Responsibilities

• Maximize operating performance of a Mini Business Unit within a highly automated coffee grinding and packaging facility
• Execute standardized processes, perform layered process audits, and facilitate structured problem solving to drive continuous improvement
• Lead and mentor other technicians within the MBU to ensure safety, quality, and service performance
• Support the site TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) journey by driving implementation and mentoring others in the process
• Partner with maintenance and quality organizations to address equipment issues and streamline material flow
• Deliver on safety goals by modeling safe behaviors, conducting audits, and participating in risk reduction initiatives
• Ensure zero-defect performance by adhering to quality control, Safe Quality Food, and Good Manufacturing Practices

Requirements

• Proven ability to lead a team through daily operations and initiatives supporting safety, quality, and delivery
• Experience supporting team members in meeting training and development goals
• Strong mathematical skills for production calculations and loss/waste analysis
• Ability to learn and support Subject Matter Expert responsibilities related to MES and WES transactions
• Ability to stand for long periods on the manufacturing floor
• Ability to lift, push, and pull 75 pounds frequently without assistance
