Production Technician II

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test valve combinations according to documented guidelines and procedures
• Assist in training new employees with an emphasis on safety, quality, and pace
• Implement new work processes to streamline production while ensuring HSE and OSHA compliance
• Ensure compliance with material traceability, torque testing, and serialization standards
• Participate in third-party witness testing and assist with Research & Development activities
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and support the maintenance of shop equipment
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• At least one year of mechanical experience, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Direct experience in valve manufacturing is required
• Ability to use various hand and power tools, including air and hydraulic torque tools
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
• Ability to read and interpret work instructions and use basic math principles
• Must be able to obtain and maintain certifications for Class II/IV forklifts and cranes
