About the role

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and make minor adjustments to manual and automated filling equipment using HMI controls or manual adjustments
  • Perform scheduled quality checks, identify deviations, and take appropriate action, including stopping production if necessary
  • Document manufacturing information accurately on logs and within the POMS system
  • Set up, load, and replenish production supplies using a powered industrial truck (PIT)
  • Execute batch/code changes, tank changes, and sub-lots as required
  • Perform and document scheduled cleaning activities and maintain a clean, safe work area using 6S principles
  • Apply rigorous quality standards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Basic English written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and written safety and quality instructions
  • Basic mathematics proficiency and ability to use a calculator
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use measurement tools and hand tools
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and perform physical tasks including bending, stooping, and reaching

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Production Technician or in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with preventative maintenance and machine troubleshooting
