Production Technician I

Responsibilities

• Operate specialized equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures
• Implement safe work practices and participate in a proactive safety culture
• Complete training requirements and obtain certifications for assigned equipment
• Conduct regular inspections of facility area and equipment
• Maintain clean and organized work areas using 5S methodology
• Perform basic maintenance activities according to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) schedules
• Assist in receiving goods, including gas cylinders and dewar deliveries

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with technical course work
• 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment or mechanical support role
• Ability to work night shift hours (4:00 pm to 4:00 am, four days a week)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and manually transport loads up to 75 lbs
• Must be clean-shaven to successfully complete Fit Test for Air Purifying Respirator (APR) use

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in applied science or a relevant field
