Production Technician I

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment to meet safety, quality, and production goals
• Perform machine setup, including preparing and loading materials and cleaning equipment
• Monitor processes and perform inspections to ensure products meet quality specifications
• Respond to machine faults and perform minor adjustments to maintain uptime and minimize scrap
• Complete required documentation for product traceability in compliance with GMP and GDP rules
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment through proper housekeeping and adherence to HSE policies
• Communicate effectively with incoming and off-going shifts and team leadership

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (or ability to obtain one within 12 months of hire)
• Basic computer skills, including experience with computer terminals or HMI usage
• Ability to follow written procedures, standard work practices, and directions
• High level of attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment under production deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience with machine operation in a production environment
• Experience working in a regulated environment (medical device, pharmaceutical, or ISO certified)
• Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems
• Certification from a recognized Manufacturing or Production Technician program
