Production Technician I

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery, processing, and filling equipment to meet production goals
• Set up production lines and perform core Autonomous Maintenance (AM) activities
• Utilize equipment such as fillers, labelers, cappers, palletizers, and printers
• Perform quality checks, including monitoring fill weights and taking samples
• Document quality and productivity data accurately in paper or electronic systems
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment and assist with line changeovers
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizens and 5S

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of previous experience in a plant or warehouse environment
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude and experience using hand and power tools
• Experience with Total Production Management (TPM) or Continuous Improvement Systems
• Experience tracking safety, quality, and productivity data
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively within a team
