Production Technician I

Responsibilities

• Produce or support the production of instrument products in compliance with established GMP procedures and quality standards
• Assist Supervisors and Line Leaders in daily operations and lead groups of operators to achieve production goals
• Interpret technical specifications and execute assembly and testing activities according to work standards
• Analyze yield issues and collaborate with Engineering to implement troubleshooting guides and process improvements
• Train, guide, and assign daily activities to Production Operators and Technicians to ensure competency
• Perform inventory management, including daily or monthly cycle counts
• Ensure compliance with all Quality Management Systems, including ISO 13485, cGMP, and safety protocols
• Maintain 5S and Lean objectives within the production environment

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in regulated manufacturing
• OR NTC/ITE Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering with 5 years of experience in regulated manufacturing
• 3–5 years of experience working within a quality management system (ISO 13485-2016, CFR 21, or cGMP)
• Strong troubleshooting abilities and meticulous attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Understanding of production Bill of Materials (BOM) in relation to manufacturing processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with new product transfers
• Experience participating in ISO 13485 audits
