Production Technician I

Responsibilities

• Prepare for production by reviewing schedules, assembling components, weighing materials, and verifying supplies
• Operate and monitor production equipment, adjusting controls and calculating concentrations, dilutions, and yields
• Adhere to aseptic filtering, filling procedures, and current good manufacturing practices (cGMP)
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment in compliance with standard operating procedures and legal regulations
• Document production activities by completing forms, reports, logs, and batch records
• Perform troubleshooting on equipment breakdowns and provide basic testing support in the lab
• Assist with simple instrument operation, maintenance, and training for new employees or processes

Requirements

• 2 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend technical instructions
• Basic math, problem-solving, and computer skills
• Ability to utilize basic technical skills to troubleshoot equipment

Preferred Qualifications

• Background or degree in a chemistry-related field
• Experience operating production machinery
• Knowledge of cGMP procedures
