Production Technician I

Responsibilities

• Execute manufacturing processes in formulation, encapsulation, and primary/secondary packaging
• Set up, run, clean, and clear equipment according to batch records
• Perform minor troubleshooting on equipment and process-related issues
• Conduct in-process quality checks accurately and maintain audit-ready production areas
• Monitor manufacturing processes and communicate operational events or issues to appropriate resources
• Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and Environmental Health and Safety procedures
• Complete batch record steps following ALCOA and GMP processes

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Previous general manufacturing experience required
• Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment
• Basic computer skills and the ability to learn new software applications
• Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical certificate or degree
• 2-3 years of cGMP manufacturing experience (e.g., food, chemical, or consumer products)
• Experience with HMI controls, vision inspection systems, or product serialization
• Familiarity with systems such as SAP, POMs, or MAXIMO
• Experience training fellow technicians
