Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate Printer and Pin Oven machines to ensure high productivity and quality in aluminum can manufacturing
• Execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance according to established plans and checklists
• Perform label changes, plate adjustments, and print registration settings
• Conduct quality control inspections regarding product standards, tones, varnish, and viscosity
• Monitor and analyze spoilage/waste levels, making necessary adjustments to optimize inputs
• Apply Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles to improve equipment reliability and workplace organization
• Lead and train teams on label changes and safe work practices
• Promote Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) standards through continuous improvement

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar roles within continuous process industries
• Completed technical secondary education with a focus on mechanics or electromechanics
• Strong knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including day and night schedules
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and effective communication skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure with a commitment to quality and safety
