Production Technician

Responsibilities

• Operate Printer and Pin Oven machines to ensure high productivity and quality of manufactured aluminum cans
• Execute preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance according to schedules and checklists
• Perform label changes, plate adjustments, and printing registration
• Conduct quality control inspections regarding product standards, shades, varnish, and viscosity
• Monitor and analyze spoilage/waste to optimize input usage and meet standards
• Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve equipment efficiency and reliability
• Lead and train teams on label changes and safe work practices
• Promote Safety, Health, and Environment (SHE) standards through continuous improvement and 5S implementation

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar positions within continuous process industries
• Completed technical secondary education with a focus on mechanics or electromechanics
• Strong knowledge of mechanics and hydraulics
• Availability to work rotating shifts, including day and night schedules
• Demonstrated leadership, teamwork, and effective communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure with a commitment to quality and safety
