About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the operations of gas turbine generators, water treatment equipment, waste effluent treatment, and high pressure steam production
  • Maintain and conform to corporate Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures
  • Monitor operating performance and report findings to management in a timely manner
  • Participate in routine maintenance tasks, shutdowns, commissioning, and process improvement projects
  • Generate and manage maintenance work orders using CMMS
  • Maintain accurate production records and technical documentation, including P&IDs and PFDs
  • Assist with on-site instrument calibration, laboratory testing, and reagent inventory
  • Escort on-site contractors and visitors to ensure compliance with safety protocols
  • Perform physical tasks including the delivery of materials and chemicals for water treatment and steam production

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of related industrial operations or maintenance experience
  • Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts and overtime as needed
  • Mechanical aptitude and ability to perform basic math operations
  • Basic computer skills and ability to use operator interface consoles
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, flow charts, and electrical schematics
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and wear required PPE (hardhat, safety glasses, safety shoes, FRC clothing)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-year Process Technology Degree
  • Prior experience with cogeneration, water treatment, and steam systems
