Production Tech Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a day shift production team (Monday–Thursday, 6:00am to 4:30pm) in a high-volume print center.
• Accept, process, and ship electronic jobs using job submission software.
• Review job specifications to organize sequences, select paper, and manage equipment set-up.
• Operate and maintain high-speed copying, hydraulic paper cutting, folding, and coil binding machines.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot digital printing equipment, and manage equipment inventories.
• Ensure high-quality finishing and binding output for internal company literature.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the digital print industry.
• Knowledge of print specifications for sheet-fed and digital production processes.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills for printers, folders, and cutters.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Ability to stand for the duration of a 10-hour shift.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Adobe software and other imposition software.
• Experience with SAP.
• Knowledge of Press Operator and Finishing Operator functions.
• Experience with booklet makers, GUK, or stall folders.
