Production Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor operators on all operations in assigned area and on an assigned shift
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality Assurance to resolve production issues
• Implement Out of Control Action Plans (OCAPs) and manage non-conforming materials via the MRB process
• Complete documentation and record-keeping tasks to ensure compliance with quality standards
• Operate multiple tools simultaneously to support efficient production
• Conduct initial investigations into process or equipment issues
• Ensure high product quality through web path checks, audits, and 5S/3R implementation
• Contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality, output, and tool uptime

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED
• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing production role operating automated or semi-automated equipment
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles, including 5S and 6-Sigma
• Ability to analyze and troubleshoot production equipment or process issues
• Experience with quality control charts and data interpretation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Physical ability to lift 25 lbs, stoop, bend, crawl, and maneuver in tight spaces
• Ability to work overtime and travel, including overseas, as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in powder handling, chemical batch processing, mixing, roll-winding, or material conveyance
