Production Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing workshop team to meet tight event deadlines
• Allocate daily tasks to team members based on project schedules and skill levels
• Interpret technical drawings, CAD drawings, and design briefs to guide fabrication
• Coordinate workshop workflow to optimize production and reduce waste
• Enforce strict health and safety rules and maintain a 5S-compliant workspace
• Inspect finished products for defects to ensure they meet client specifications
• Manage raw materials inventory and coordinate with purchasing
• Ensure all workshop equipment is maintained and in good working order

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in scenic construction, exhibit fabrication, or similar workshop environments
• Proven ability to lead a team with strong interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings
• Experience with woodworking, metalworking, or scenic painting
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems or inventory software
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office/Excel
• Ability to work in a workshop environment involving noise, dust, and heat
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
