Production Team Leader

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate a team of production operatives during the backshift
• Support team training, coaching and skills development
• Oversee production operations to ensure all targets are achieved
• Maintain workflow efficiency and ensure product quality meets expectations
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards and quality control processes
• Respond to operational challenges and recommend improvements using production metrics
• Act as the link between production staff and management to support smooth handovers

Requirements

• Experience as a Production Team Leader, Line Leader, Shift Leader, or similar manufacturing leadership role
• Strong people-management and communication skills
• Good understanding of production processes (food manufacturing experience preferred)
• Ability to problem-solve and make sound decisions under pressure
• Proactive, organised and hands-on approach
• Willingness to work regular backshift hours
