Production Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Lead a 3rd shift production team in a fast-paced environment to manufacture tubes and cores
• Perform hands-on troubleshooting and machine setup to ensure production stays on track
• Monitor and report on product quality, making incremental process adjustments as needed
• Drive team performance to meet and exceed production goals while holding staff accountable for quality and attendance
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area using 5S principles
• Collaborate with other departments and complete required administrative tasks

Requirements

• Core manufacturing experience is required
• Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot machine issues
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Understanding of continuous improvement methodologies and tools
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work a 3rd shift schedule (9:00 pm – 7:00 am)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of manufacturing experience
• Forklift experience
• Familiarity with 5S methodology
