Production Team Lead

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production schedules and tasks to ensure objectives are met
• Monitor production output and ensure all quality standards and guidelines are followed
• Communicate material shortages, equipment issues, or process concerns to the Production Supervisor
• Lead team members through positive communication and modeling Health & Safety adherence
• Support continuous improvement efforts and assist in implementing operational changes
• Provide backup support for the Production Supervisor and assist in various manufacturing functions as needed
• Maintain clean and tidy work areas and ensure proper use of PPE by the team

Requirements

• High school graduation diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment in a Team Lead capacity
• Valid Forklift and Reach Truck certifications
• TDG certification
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with ERP systems
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety best practices and GHS knowledge

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Previous experience or knowledge within the chemical industry
