Production Team Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily production activities to support safe and efficient assembly line operations
• Monitor line readiness, start-up conditions, and production flow throughout the shift
• Assist with balancing labor and workflow across stations to meet production targets
• Provide hands-on guidance to Team Leaders and associates to reinforce standard operating procedures
• Act as a communication link between the production floor and supervision
• Identify recurring production, quality, material, or attendance issues
• Support onboarding, training, and cross-training efforts for new employees
• Perform in-process quality checks and track daily production metrics like output and efficiency
• Coordinate with Materials and Warehouse teams to prevent line disruptions
• Reinforce safe work practices, housekeeping standards, and continuous improvement activities like 5S

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of manufacturing experience
• High school diploma or GED
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
• Ability to lead by influence and coach peers
• Experience in lawn and garden or outdoor power equipment manufacturing preferred
• Prior experience as a Team Leader or senior production associate preferred
