Production Support Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assist production teams with miscellaneous shop tasks
• Support rework, teardown, and prototype activities
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow safety, quality, and compliance requirements (AS9100, ESD, FOD, ITAR)
• Perform part finishing including deburring, sanding, filing, and cleaning
• Remove support structures from 3D printed parts
• Perform visual inspections for defects
• Operate 3D printers and manage print materials
• Kit hardware, consumables, and components for production
• Label, move, and track parts for inventory traceability
• Support 5S initiatives

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 0–3 years of experience in manufacturing or production
• Ability to follow written work instructions and SOPs
• Proficiency with hand tools and basic power tools
• Strong attention to detail and reliability
• Ability to stand, lift, and work in a production environment

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, defense, or automotive manufacturing
• Exposure to additive manufacturing or composites
• Familiarity with Lean manufacturing or 5S practices
