Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities for bargaining unit personnel to maintain high production, safety, and quality standards
• Delegate work assignments to optimize production and investigate problems to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with Union contracts, shop rules, and agency procedures
• Administer discipline and promote positive Union-Company relations to maintain high morale
• Develop and maintain a flexible, well-trained workforce
• Manage inventory control, tool acquisition, and departmental budgets
• Utilize computer systems for production reports, payroll verification, and productivity tracking
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• 4-6 years of manufacturing background
• Proven supervisory and people management skills
• Knowledge of precision measuring devices
• Proficient computer skills and time management abilities
