Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise shift production activities, staffing, and scheduling for injectable manufacturing.
• Manage the performance of hourly manufacturing employees, including conducting interviews, hiring, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure production teams adhere to all quality standards, specifications, and cGMP requirements.
• Create, revise, and implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Production Batch Records.
• Perform Batch Record reviews and manage transactions within the ERP inventory control systems.
• Lead investigations and implement CAPA for non-conforming events.
• Set daily production priorities and monitor training progress for all direct reports.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong knowledge of current Good Manufacturing Procedures (cGMP).
• Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours or more).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work the 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00pm - 10:30pm).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline or a related field.
• Specific formal training in cGMP.

Benefits

• Annual pay range of $83,000 - $88,000 depending on experience.
