Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee 3rd shift production and sanitation activities to achieve quality, quantity, and safety goals
• Manage shift budgets and control labor costs through effective personnel scheduling
• Maintain and track shift performance regarding production, sanitation, quality, and safety standards
• Minimize costs related to overtime, maintenance, downtime, and rework
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies
• Enforce food safety, HACCP, and GMP programs to meet customer and government standards
• Provide hands-on training, coaching, and development to shift employees
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline material handling, maintenance, and inventory control

Requirements

• 2-3 years of production or group leader experience in a manufacturing environment
• Working knowledge of sanitation and production processes
• Experience with HACCP and GMP regulations relevant to food production
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment involving standing, walking, bending, and lifting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a food-related manufacturing industry
• Certifications such as HACCP or SQF Practitioner
• Bachelor's degree in a related field
