Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead daily packaging operations to ensure efficient use of labor, materials, and time to meet production schedules.
• Monitor and control packaging processes by maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and implementing adjustments.
• Ensure delivery of required quality, output, yield, and line efficiency in alignment with organizational expectations.
• Drive and model strict adherence to OSHA, environmental, food safety, GMP, and company policies.
• Maintain high standards of sanitation, housekeeping, and equipment cleanliness.
• Supervise, direct, and develop team members to achieve operational goals while fostering a positive work environment.
• Apply root cause analysis and problem-solving techniques to resolve operational challenges.
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Production teams to optimize equipment performance and sustain line efficiencies.

Requirements

• High school diploma required.
• 3-5 years of manufacturing experience, ideally in food processing, packaging, or food safety environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Outlook) and general PC literacy.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb stairs/ladders, bend, kneel, and stand for long periods.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in operations, engineering, business, or a related field.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.
