Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily business operations and ensure adherence to production schedules
• Manage resource allocation, including shift rosters and task assignments based on staff qualifications
• Monitor compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (HSE) and quality guidelines
• Lead shift handover meetings and daily "Shopfloor Management" huddles
• Document production KPIs and escalate deviations to the Production Manager
• Ensure output accountability regarding volume, timing, and quality
• Identify team training needs to ensure a versatile and cross-trained workforce

Requirements

• Ability to issue work instructions and set priorities regarding production flow
• Strong lateral leadership skills for conducting performance feedback sessions
• Authority to stop production lines in the event of quality defects or safety risks
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP) for material bookings and labor tracking
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance required for the defense sector
