Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage production during a given shift by overseeing staff and ensuring all operations follow safety protocols.
• Provide constant training and technical assistance to operations staff regarding work instructions and best practices.
• Perform quality control and report any defective or non-conforming products.
• Ensure product traceability through the proper use of the Data Collection System.
• Maintain production schedules and achieve production KPIs.
• Monitor raw material stock levels and coordinate refills or orders as required.
• Collaborate with Maintenance Technicians to resolve equipment issues and maximize uptime.
• Propose process improvements using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools to improve yield and efficiency.
• Facilitate smooth shift transitions by communicating with incoming and outgoing supervisors.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of production experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of process improvement, budgeting, and production standards.
• Strong organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work flexible or rotating shifts and overtime as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as a production supervisor in a manufacturing plant.
• Experience with production planning, controls, and instrumentation.
• Experience working with MRP and/or ERP systems.
