Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Oversee receiving, shipping, warehousing, and picking operations
• Implement operational policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective use of manufacturing equipment
• Monitor quality and productivity to ensure service and cost objectives are met
• Plan daily work schedules by coordinating with outside vendors and internal departments
• Manage employee training, development, performance management, and corrective action
• Conduct regular communication meetings with the workforce to enhance Business Management Systems (BMS) and Operational Excellence
• Participate in Continuous Improvement Projects

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
• At least 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operations function

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations, or Supply Chain
• At least 1 year of experience in a leadership or supervisory role
• Experience applying continuous improvement tools such as Six Sigma, 5-S, or Lean Manufacturing
• At least 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing or distribution facility
• Prior experience using timekeeping or production control systems
