Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and motivate production employees to meet quality, safety, and efficiency objectives
• Oversee day-to-day operations, including scheduling equipment and personnel to meet production deadlines
• Ensure the safe and effective use of manpower, equipment, and material resources
• Maintain high product quality and yields while ensuring compliance with company and governmental sanitation and environmental standards
• Monitor and communicate data trends to initiate corrective actions as needed
• Administer collective agreements, company policies, and safety standards
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Quality Assurance teams to minimize downtime and ensure product safety

Requirements

• 3 years of progressive experience in a dairy or food manufacturing environment
• Demonstrated leadership skills, preferably within a unionized environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and possess strong analytical and organizational skills
• Superior interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in Food Science, Dairy Technology, Microbiology, Operations, Engineering, or Management
• In-depth knowledge of dairy operations, specifically processing, cheese making, sanitation, and CIP
