Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage, lead, and supervise a production team to achieve organizational objectives regarding safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Act as the area owner accountable for performance metrics including safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Ensure compliance with EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) and quality regulatory requirements.
• Provide training to associates and ensure certification according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Work Instructions (WI).
• Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and weekly communication sessions to provide feedback and discuss development.
• Enforce PPE compliance and LOTO (Lock Out Tag Out) applications to maintain a safe working environment.
• Proactively initiate quality improvements and investigate issues to minimize cost impact and prevent customer escapes.
• Manage machine and people capacity, including work schedules, overtime, and material availability to meet order due dates.
• Drive continuous improvement by monitoring metrics and addressing process bottlenecks.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Strong data analysis skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proven people management and leadership experience.
• Excellent problem-solving, investigation, and detail-oriented skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Deep process knowledge within a manufacturing environment.
