Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate daily production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective operations.
• Meet production throughput, quality, and labor utilization targets.
• Supervise, coach, and develop frontline employees through performance management and training.
• Monitor production, quality, and safety metrics to identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Support Lean manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Safety, Quality, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams to maintain compliance with food safety, GMP, and workplace safety standards.
• Lead shift communications, team huddles, and maintain accurate operational documentation.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as business needs require.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Ability to work in various manufacturing environments, including hot, humid, cold, or noisy settings.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate degree in manufacturing, industrial technology, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Previous experience in food manufacturing or high-speed production environments.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or behavior-based safety programs.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
