Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Production Team Leaders by providing guidance on daily operations, team management, and talent development
• Collaborate with stakeholders in Warehouse, Planning, and Engineering to ensure resources are available to achieve production targets
• Implement business excellence projects including Continuous Improvement, LEAN, and cost-saving initiatives
• Act as a point of escalation for performance management issues within the shift
• Oversee management of production personnel across all shifts, including attendance, safety, training, and induction
• Supervise investigations and implement remedial actions related to safety, quality, or performance issues

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
• Strong technical product knowledge or the ability to quickly understand complex technical processes
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate across different levels of the organization
• Solid understanding of GMP processes, quality management, and Health & Safety (H&S) policies
• Ability to work cross-functionally and manage differing perspectives

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in a team supervisory or management role
• Background in medical devices, pharmaceuticals, healthcare, food and beverage, cosmetics, or chemicals
• Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) principles
