Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead machinery setup and changeover activities
• Monitor production activity to ensure operators follow standard work instructions and meet quality specifications
• Audit compliance with process control plans to ensure high-quality production
• Maintain and audit production information within the company's ERP system
• Manage department scheduling and monitor production alignment with customer demand
• Review unplanned scrap to identify root causes and implement countermeasures
• Oversee the professional development and periodic evaluation of direct reports
• Champion the area’s safety program and coordinate statutory training and compliance
• Promote Lean Manufacturing tools and techniques across all processes

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent professional experience
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is required
• Experience with standard shop tools and measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
• Mechanical aptitude and experience troubleshooting machinery
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods of time
• Capability to operate material handling equipment, including forklifts
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• 3 years of supervisory experience
• Experience in metal stamping, fabrication, or fastener manufacturing
