Production Supervisor - Paint

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across Chemical Coating, Composite Bonding, and Finishing to meet safety, quality, and delivery objectives.
• Assign work orders, prioritize tasks, and optimize workforce efficiency to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Monitor key performance metrics including productivity, efficiency, and quality to resolve bottlenecks.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and training to operators to ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards.
• Manage employee performance, including hiring, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Drive continuous improvement efforts using lean manufacturing tools such as 5S and Kaizen.
• Ensure strict compliance with OSHA regulations and maintain a safe work environment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 4+ years of manufacturing management experience supervising direct reports.
• Expertise in Paint processes (required).
• Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen, Standard Work).
• Experience using ERP systems for tracking work orders, materials, and inventory.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety compliance.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in aerospace, aviation, or other highly regulated manufacturing industries.
• Familiarity with FAA, ITAR, and AS9100 standards.
• Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification.
• Experience with Composite bonding.
