Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, well-organized manufacturing area and lead regular cell-level team meetings.
• Assign tasks and manage workloads, including technician shift schedules and overtime, to meet daily production targets.
• Develop and own production cell performance KPIs and analyze data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Provide leadership for assigned employees, including performance management, appraisals, and training.
• Ensure compliance with QMS procedures and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and lead Kaizen or CI events.
• Maintain accurate documentation, records, and a Skills Matrix to proactively manage training and recruitment needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree, equivalent military training, or high school diploma with 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Proven experience with Six Sigma methodologies and proficiency in Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA).
• Strong knowledge of business processes including QMS, POE, Sales File, MRB, and RMAs.
• Mechanical aptitude with a solid understanding of production fabrication and assembly.
• Ability to provide real-time shop support and troubleshooting to ensure consistent quality and production.
• Excellent verbal communication skills for interacting with management levels.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience using Epicor ERP software.
