Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and organize all production operations to achieve health, safety, production, and cost control objectives during the night shift.
• Manage daily production activities, including leading morning meetings and coaching the production team.
• Plan hiring needs in collaboration with the Plant Director and HR, and coordinate employee integration and training.
• Promote workplace health and safety in accordance with established procedures and participate in SST committees.
• Oversee quality control and inventory management, including data entry and investigating inventory discrepancies.
• Coordinate maintenance interventions and communicate production plan issues to the production planner.
• Monitor performance indicators and propose continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• DEC in industrial engineering, operations management, logistics, or an equivalent field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an industrial environment.
• Proficiency in English.
• Experience using ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and 5S principles.
• Strong leadership and coaching skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a production supervisor in a unionized environment.
• Experience in the agri-food or animal nutrition industry.
