About the role
Responsibilities
- Facilitate efficient operation practices by monitoring and improving defects, cycle time, machine uptime, and labor optimization
- Organize and manage the workforce according to shift priorities
- Ensure a safe working environment by monitoring PPE usage, adherence to work instructions, and identifying safety risks
- Collect and complete accurate production reports and enter data into production databases
- Manage production containments, including identification, organization, tagging, and flow
- Oversee sorting and rework directives based on containment disposition
- Train employees on job requirements, company policies, safety, quality, and customer expectations
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Proficiency in MS Office
Preferred Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in a leadership role
- Specialized course or Associate's degree
- Experience with SAP
