Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate manufacturing activities, optimizing the flow of materials, parts, and assemblies
• Develop and maintain master manufacturing and material delivery schedules
• Manage production budgets and monitor "Material Estimate to Complete" data
• Distribute work orders and determine work schedules to expedite workflow
• Enforce company policies regarding ESD, contamination control, traceability, and safety
• Administer performance reviews, assign improvement goals, and manage personnel training
• Collaborate with engineering and planning departments to resolve production and delivery issues

Requirements

• BA degree or trade school in Material and Production Control technology
• 5+ years of supervisory experience in Military or Aerospace Electronic Manufacturing
• 2+ years of hands-on material/production control and stockroom experience in electronics manufacturing
• 2+ years of experience working with MRP systems
• Ability to read and understand engineering blueprints, schematics, drawings, and military specifications
• Proficiency in MS Office and professional computer use
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ISO-9000 and ISO-9001 standards
• Experience with IPC-A-610 and IPC-J-STD-001
• Experience managing teams or self-managed teams
• Professional experience working with space-related equipment
