Production Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily operations of an assigned shift to ensure alignment with production plans
• Ensure a safe working environment and maintain compliance with all safety policies
• Lead quality improvement initiatives to achieve zero defects both internally and externally
• Initiate process improvement activities and facilitate cross-functional teams for continuous improvement
• Develop employees toward the attainment of autonomous work teams
• Use data to analyze performance and implement action plans to address operational issues
• Provide clear communication across all levels of the organization

Requirements

• HS Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a technical or business field
• 3-5 years of experience in automotive manufacturing operations
• 3-5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles (Takt, One piece flow, Pull, 5S)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Visual Manufacturing, including KanBan and Takt Time
• Familiarity with TS 16949 and ISO 14001 requirements
